Description

Although a hike to get in here, Will Warren's Den has some of the best, concentrated, legal bouldering in the state. One massive boulder even contains a few established routes (however, access to the top is difficult and they never get climbed). A good variety of styles are represented here from crimpy to slopey to steep and thuggish. It's traprock, so beware loose holds.

Getting There

Located in between the Green Wall and Rattlesnake Cliff on Rattlesnake Mountain. Public parking for the Metacomet is located in a large pull-off on route 6. Follow the Metacomet (blue blazes) south past the Porcupine and Green walls. Alternately, you could park at Pinnacle Rock and follow the Metacomet north.
