Description
Aptly named, the Wild Wall stays quiet, rarely disturbed and away from the popular crags at the Forks. Facing East, the Wild Wall can be viewed from the Sine Wall and the White Wall, hiding just out of sight at the other walls. A fine selection of climbs reside here, with a variety of positive face holds accompanying every line, from 5.10 to 5.12. Expect a grit textured basalt, decorated with colorful lichen ornaments on a gun metal canvas.
Getting There
Previously considered part of the Jungle Wall, the Wild Wall is the East facing continuation of the already existing and North facing Jungle Wall. From the parking area, take the right fork and cross the seasonal watershed. Continue on the established trail along the rim until you are across from the artistically streaked White Wall.
