Description

The Poudre Canyon west of the town of Rustic becomes a very wide open valley chocked full of cliffs and boulders. This section hosts the BEST bouldering in the Fort Collins area and easily some of the best route potential in Northern Colorado. The scenery and setting are incredible and home to moose, mountain lions, bighorn sheep, beaver, and lots of other wildlife. If you haven't made the long drive up the canyon from Fort Collins...you probably should.

Getting There

The town of Rustic lies approximately 31.5 miles west from Ted's Place (a.k.a. the intersection of US Highway 287 and CO 14). Hatchery Rock is the first area described that lies West of Rustic, it is 38.3 miles from Ted's Place.
