Description
West Creek is a less visited area of the South Platte with incredible climbing on Thunder Ridge and the better known, near-the-road Sheep's Nose. There are single pitch and multi-pitch climbs ranging from 5.6 to 5.14. There are bolted and traditional climbs here. This area requires effort to climb. It is principally a Spring, Summer, and Fall area due to road conditions.

Central CO Economic Impact Study
The Pikes Peak Climbers Alliance is working with Dr. James Maples of Eastern Kentucky University to analyze the economic impact of climbers in this region. The data will help us show the value of rock climbing to city, state, and federal officials in a way they may not have been aware of. We appreciate your support.
