Description

Dispersed boulders throughout the recently protected 1000-acre preserve make for some quiet, peaceful conditions. Located in Old Saybrook and Essex, CT. Typically seasonal (Spring, Summer, Fall) as there can be a lot of snow in the winter months. Most areas are secluded and owned by the towns of Essex, Old Saybrook, and the state of Connecticut.

Getting There

Parking at various locations in the area. Clark Community Town Park (Old Saybrook) is one location. A series of trails run through the preserve that leads to most of the boulders.
