Description

This area is located next to and in the towns of Sequoia Crest and Alpine village. There are boulders galore with many unclimbed problems waiting to be discovered. There are campgrounds, a river, and the Nelson Trail to hike in Camp Nelson that is about 20 minutes away.

Getting There

Starting from the closest major city of Porterville, Ca, head up highway 190 passing through the beautiful foothill town of Springville. Winding your way up highway 190 you'll pass Pierpoint Springs Resort and the town of Camp Nelson and eventually take a left off of the highway onto Redwood Dr. This will take you up passing Alpine Village and into Sequoia Crest.
