Yosemite National Park climbing closures and conditions.
Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15.
Always check the Yosemite website Peregrine Closure page at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warning due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Near the top of Sentinal Dome trail there is a very large boulder which looks untouched and amazing. A high ball in most regards. The good routes are somewhat hidden on the left and rear side of the boulder ( when facing from the trail).
A little further up is another boulder, much smaller, which is perched atop another larger boulder. This also some promising routes to be had.
This area is a little remote to go just for bouldering, but if camping at Bridalveil Campground or hiking to Sentinel Dome/Glacier Point be sure to bring some climbing shoes and maybe a brush!
