Description

Probably the most crowded area at the Lower Wall on nice summer days, the Main Wall also has the highest route density and many awesome high-quality routes.

Getting There

Approach as for the Great Northern Slab, but follow the trail right along the base of the cliff.

Details: Lowest parts of the wall are generally steepest and surrounded by trees, meaning that the lowest parts are more likely to have partial shade. Also, the wall slightly bows out, so routes furthest right may see earlier sun, those furthest left, later sun.
