Description

Nestled on a small Granby backroad these little known boulders can offer another option for locals looking for a quick afternoon send. Two small roadside boulders, with a few more chossy boulders along the river. Nothing to write home about as far as rock quality goes but access is so easy it's worth knowing about if you're in the area. The small pull off can fit two cars. The two main boulder are the Big Roadside and the Small Roadside. Quick access to Belden Brook for those looking for a quiet spot to dip their feet in the stream.

Getting There

Located on a slice of state land on the line between Granby and Hartland. From 189 drive up Lost Acres road past Lost Acres Orchard. The roadside boulder is easy to spot on the right side of the road. Boulders are around 600ft before the fuller road intersection. A small pull off is located 40 feet past the obvious roadside boulder. Two cars can fit in the full off if the second parks behind the first.
