Access Issue: Boulders cannot be accessed from Oakland Road
Details
Oakland Road is the easiest access to the somewhat spaced boulders. However, there is no legal parking on Oakland Road. I am not completely sure how many of the boulders are on private property. If you do make the trek from Wards Chapel or find easy access just be careful of the residents. One of the boulders found by John Kelbel, called the Oakland Mill Boulder should be accessed with caution.
Description
This area is literally in the middle of nowhere. If you get injured that's going to be troublesome because of the enormous walk back to civilization. This area is somewhat underdeveloped. John Kelbel as well as myself have looked around the area. The boulders appear in clumps on large hills. Most of the time only one side of the boulder can be climbed, making the walk downs easy. Do not expect large boulders, most are just over seven feet tall. A few of the problems I have found amusing are extreme sit start boulders that require somewhat modern techniques. I would only go here if you have some way to easily access it.

Getting There
There is a parking access on Wards Chapel Road. I have never used it so I am not sure where it is exactly. I would suggest bringing a GPS with you while bouldering here. If you have a ride that can drop off and pickup, get dropped off right before Oakland Road goes into the woods. Walk down the road until you reach a gate. Continue on the gravel road. If you look across the to the right you can see a small pile of rocks, there is a crappy boulder problem there. The boulders are very spaced. Access this area will require a lot of walking. Multiple miles.
