Description

Lake Mohegan is a popular destination among local hikers, dog walkers, and beach goers. There are a few boulders scattered throughout the park. While the quality of climbing may not be great, the approaches are short and the area is scenic.

Getting There

From the Merritt Parkway, take exit 44. Head southeast along Black Rock Turnpike, turn left on Tahmore Drive, then turn left on Morehouse Highway. This will take you straight into the parking area for Lake Mohegan.
