Description

This preserve has several overlooks with clear views looking towards the Connecticut River valley, which you can see on a clear day. Several of the outcroppings have climbable rock. However, they are located deep within the preserve along the red trail - Puzzle Rock and near to Salmon Head Rock/overlook.

Getting There

Best way to get here is to start at the Johnston Preserve trailhead ( goo.gl/maps/GMGPYne8d6Y7dqxU6) and make a long day of it exploring Johnston Preserve's Fractured Valley, Dark Hollow, and then proceeding to Puzzle Rock and the Salmon Head area...
