Glen Frank and I climbed Alexanders on 10/9/22

2nd pitch after leaving the Lamb Slide, ice was thin and tough to protect

3rd pitch had ice, fairly easy

4th pitch, Chimney had enough ice to get through without issue

Looking down the 4th/chimney pitch

No ice on the ramp pitch after the chimney on 10/9/22

More ice and snow now on AC then when it was climbed above.  My partner and I went up it yesterday, not icing that there was moving water that healed all your sticks and screw holes and the route looked virgin.  But. There is zero water flowing anywhere on route now. So unless it gets warmer again, I’ll doubt the ice will grow anymore this season.

Everything else in the cirque is very dry.

Not exactly. I was in the front range for work for a few days and fit it in.

I didn’t study it, but when walking by I noticed zero ice and not much snow.

Any eyes on Officer's Gulch or Lincoln?  Or just not enough snow yet?

Stairway is in but thinner so goes most of Eureka. There was a party on it. We were going to do second gully but looks a little thin. Opted to do Cataract in South Mineral instead.

We met two dudes from Denver who climbed in S Mineral yesterday, I wonder if the tools you found are theirs

Lincoln’s in, the WI5 pillar has been dropped though (saaaaaaad panda). Gully and middle flow are in like usual. I did not see much/any ice when driving through ten mile a week ago.

That sucks. I saw a crew last November top rope it and hack it to pieces as well. Can't we have nice things last until at least December :(

Good to see the left pillar forming this year.

How long till someone bashes it into oblivion? Should I start a pool?
