Description
A small, fairly secluded area on top of Colbert Heights mountain where Shoals area locals go to climb. Many medium quality sandstone boulders and a small cliff line with some anchors installed. Not many hard routes as the rock has too many large/deep features. A few decent problems though. Come prepared to clean as this area does not see much climber traffic.
Getting There
Follow US-72/43 through Muscle Shoals and turn left onto US-72W. Continue for a couple miles then turn left onto Woodmont Dr.
After a few miles the road will trend right and begin to climb a small mountain. Toward the top, take a very sharp right turn onto Milk Springs Rd then right again onto Stone Gap Rd. This road ends at a turnaround beneath an electric tower.
Park in the gravel (important)and then follow the small dirt trail for about five minutes.
