Clark Crag is a small wall off of the Stone Bench Trail system that covers the land behind the Clark Art Museum in Williamstown, MA. This features fun boulder problems with a range of crimps, slopers, cracks, and jugs. It is an awesome training ground and an excellent spot for an afternoon off work or to grab a few laps in between classes.

Getting There

Hike the Stone Bench Trail off the driveway to the Buxton School towards the bench itself, then pass the bench, and continue straight up the trail to a wall shortly off the trail to the left. Try not to get distracted by the other rock formations on the sides of the trail, they're far too small and/or chossy, and you'll just get dirty and not climb. It's about a mile, then maybe a minute once you pass the bench. This is a very obvious wall with an even more obvious crashpad area. It is clearly a well used spot.

Mostly Shady All Day

Details: Spot is very well covered. Which means good shade, but also the crag needs a while to dry off after rain.
