Description

A set of surprisingly high quality Potsdam Sandstone cliffs (for Northern NY). Cliff height between 30-60 feet. The middle portion of the cliff contains a series of massive roofs, some spanning over 30 feet. The rock quality on the roofs looks alright. There have been no recorded ascents (that we know of) on or anywhere near this rock, so first ascents abound. This place boasts quite a lot: a good selection of moderate to hard looking face climbs, jaw dropping roof systems, as well as some pretty nice cracks. There is a little of something for everyone here.

if you’re arms are too pumped to climb, check out the large and intricate cave systems that are well worth a visit on their own.

Getting There

Approach is 5 minutes on a beautifully kept trail. Super easy. There is a pleasant access trail at the beginning of the cliffs that leads to the base. Taking a right at the bottom will led you to "The Lookout", and taking a left will lead you to "Cave of the Meadowood". Actual location will remain unknown until a discussion with landowners can be had. Access is currently being discussed with the landowners and we believe that it can be gained in the coming months.
