Description

Western New York's Premier Buildering Destination! Lol.

Heading South on Rt. 19, just before you come into Belfast, NY, there are a bunch of old bridge pillars on the left, in a large field. Most of them are choss monsters but some are in great shape and have very natural cracks and crimps that make for some sweet problems.

The best ones are near the road, and are of varying heights. The top outs will require jumping or climbing down, so bring at least 2 pads for a nice landing.

There are also some different pillars with vertical faces towards the river. Very cool cracks and stuff.

Unless otherwise specified, aretes are out on all routes.

Getting There

Head south on Rt. 19, just before you come into Belfast, NY. Pillars are on the left. Turn onto the dirt drive on your left, and walk left to the pillars.

Note: I don't know who owns this land. The train tracks that used to be here were probably on town land. But getting there requires parking next to someone's field, unless you walk in, and I'm not sure who owns it. Be careful, be friendly, be respectful.
