Description

Really good rock quality, pretty secluded, shaded in the evenings. Nice area, really pretty.Theres so much virgin rock, with most 80-100 feet. If you like really moderate to stout trad, check it out!

Getting There

From Birmingham, take Interstate 65 North all the way to Hwy. 278 in Cullman and go west to Double Springs. Take a right on 33 all the way to hwy 60 and take a left, go all the way past picnic area to the end of 60 and take a right; you will be on Forest Service Rd. 210. Go past Kinlock Falls area and continue to FS-203 and turn right. Follow FS-203 to FS-208, turn right and follow it all the way to the bridge; park before crossing the bridge. Hike across the bridge to trail head and take trail 206 for 2.6 miles to a large butress on the left. Follow the trail to the cliff line and go left following the cliff line, you will see the routes mentioned.

After trying these few routes, follow the cliff line back and you will see a large hole in the wall (Eye of the Needle) and you can go through it to the other side and find more rock, rock, rock and more rock.
